With more than 20 years in the catering and sales industry, Robert Urichuk contributes his extensive background to Hakkasan Group. As Vice President of Catering and Sales, Urichuk oversees corporate sales, catering, and banquet operations including nightlife and fine-dining venture Hakkasan Las Vegas Restaurant and Nightclub at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino.

As he began his extensive executive management experience in the hospitality industry in Alberta, Canada, Urichuk directed the development and execution of expansion plans and maintenance of all capital projects as Director of Operations for the Arbco Restaurants Group. Urichuk made his first mark in Las Vegas at the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino where he took on the role of Food & Beverage, General Manger and was engaged as an acting member of the pre-opening management team. Shortly after, Urichuk was recruited by MGM Grand Hotel & Casino to take on a senior management role in Catering & Sales, where he specialized in penetrating the corporate events market for the property’s newly constructed Conference Center at the time. After his six years at MGM Grand, Urichuk joined ICE Nightclub as its Director of Catering & Sales with focus on driving ancillary revenue to the property through corporate event buy-outs. In 2004, Robert was sought after by nightclub and restaurant developer PURE Management Group with a portfolio of several venues to head up and lead its Catering & Sales division. When the company became Angel Management Group (AMG) in 2005, Urichuk continued to operate and manage more than 15 venues including PURE Nightclub at Caesars Palace, Social House at the Shops at Crystals and Hakkasan Las Vegas.

As the VP of Catering and Sales, Robert Urichuk is a key player within Hakkasan Group’s executive team and will continue to be a valuable asset to the company’s continued growth.
