An award-winning restaurant from London offering contemporary Cantonese dim sum, patisserie and an extensive range of tea, wine and cocktails
Yauatcha Bengaluru opened its doors at the MG Road Mall in 2013. With an open, spacious dining room, bar, and terrace, Yauatcha is an accessible fine dining experience that fuses dim sum, mixology, tea, and European-style patisserie to create a unique and social experience that reflects the spirit of a modern-day tea house.
Originally designed by Christian Liaigre, Yauatcha Bengaluru’s open-plan layout and visible kitchen energize the entire space. The stylish interior showcases the restaurant’s signature design elements with blue glass and exposed brickwork, while the covered outdoor terrace houses a marble bar and lush greenery.
Authentic Cantonese cuisine in the heart of Bengaluru
Yauatcha is a contemporary dim sum teahouse that opened its first location in London in 2004. Incorporating the same concepts as its Michelin-starred sister location Yauatcha Soho, Yauatcha Bengaluru offers an all-day social experience, specializing in modern dim sum as well as wok dishes and other small eats. The concept is a modern interpretation of a traditional Cantonese teahouse featuring an exceptional range of Chinese, Taiwanese, and Indian teas. Yauatcha is also known for its handmade petits gateaux, macarons, and chocolates, available both a la carte and retail in the patisserie.
An ancient tradition reimagined for the modern day
Dim sum has a long history of bringing people together. Yauatcha’s cuisine honors those traditions by offering modern interpretations of classic dishes made with traditional techniques and the finest quality ingredients.
Yauatcha’s talented pastry team creates a delightful array of sweets each day, pairing the most current techniques with unique and flavorful ingredients. With a collection that changes each season, there is always something new for guests to try in the patisserie.
