Located in the popular Quest Mall, Yauatcha Kolkata opened its doors in 2014. With an open, spacious dining room and bar, Yauatcha is an accessible fine dining experience that fuses dim sum, mixology, tea, and European-style patisserie to create a unique and social experience that reflects the spirit of a modern-day tea house.
Originally designed by Christian Liaigre, Yauatcha Kolkata’s open-plan layout and visible kitchen energize the entire space. The stylish interior showcases Yauatcha’s signature design elements with blue glass and exposed brickwork.
Authentic Cantonese cuisine in the heart of Kolkata
Yauatcha is a contemporary dim sum teahouse that opened its first location in London in 2004. Incorporating the same concepts as its Michelin-starred sister location Yauatcha Soho, Yauatcha Kolkata offers an all-day social experience, specializing in modern dim sum as well as wok dishes and other small eats. The concept is a modern interpretation of a traditional Cantonese teahouse featuring an exceptional range of Chinese, Taiwanese, and Indian teas. Yauatcha is also known for its handmade petits gateaux, macarons, and chocolates, available both a la carte and retail in the patisserie at the front of the restaurant.
