Due to the unforeseen business circumstances caused by COVID 19, the Governor of Nevada’s declaration of emergency and resulting executive orders which have required Searsucker to operate at a reduced capacity, the recommendations and/or orders regarding public gatherings issued by the CDC and various other government agencies along with the resulting economic impacts that the ongoing circumstances have caused to our business, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend operations at Searsucker Las Vegas until further notice.
We are committed to reopening Searsucker when the various government agencies restrictions are reduced and business levels return.

As part of their phased reopening plan, global hospitality company Hakkasan Group is delighted to announce the reopening of Hakkasan Hanway Place, the original location, on Thursday 6th of August.
To celebrate their reopening and thank their loyal customers, the restaurant is bringing back to the menu the much-loved Pipa duck exclusively to Hakkasan Hanway Place. Having been taken off the menu in recent years, Hakkasan will bring back their classic and sophisticated Cantonese dish which takes its name from the Chinese balloon guitar, the Pipa. The duck is marinated and cooked whilst lying flat, in order to heighten the characteristic taste and flavour of the duck.
After careful consideration, we have decided to temporarily suspend operations at Searsucker San Diego until further notice. Frequently changing COVID-19 governmental mandates and operational restrictions coupled with restricted tourism and uncertain business volumes in the Gaslamp Quarter has resulted in being unable to continue our regular restaurant service for the foreseeable future.

As part of a phased plan, we are delighted to announce the reopening of Yauatcha Soho on Thursday 16th July.
Open for both lunch and dinner, Yauatcha Soho, the Chinese dim sum teahouse in London, will follow in the footsteps of Yauatcha City, which reopened on 6th July, by introducing the Your Yauatcha menu to the restaurant. Yauatcha Soho will, for the first time, offer a ‘pick your own’ Your Yauatcha menu, launched during the UK’s lockdown as part of their hugely successful delivery service. Your Yauatcha provides guests with the choice of three menus which will see dim sum combined with wok dishes for the ideal personalised experience, sitting alongside the a la carte menu. Highlights across the menu include sharing dim sum platters containing Seafood black truffle dumplings and Scallop shui mai as well as Cantonese classics of Stir-fry rib eye beef in black bean sauce, Pan-fried silver cod and Peking duck bao with macarons for dessert.
We are pleased to announce that from 10th July 2020, Hakkasan Abu Dhabi is accepting dinner reservations from 6pm to 11.30pm, Wednesdays to Saturdays. As per government approval and regulations, the restaurant will be operating at 60% capacity with a maximum of four people per table, until further notice.
Walk-ins are still welcome; however, guests are advised to reserve in advance to guarantee a table. A three-hour return time is also in place to ensure that more people are able to visit in a safe and spread out time frame.

Searsucker San Diego reopened last week but due to recent government mandates our seating capacity is limited to our outdoor patio only. No reservations required – walk-ins only.

In line with government guidelines, global hospitality company Hakkasan Group has unveiled a phased plan for the re-opening of its five award-winning London restaurants following the enforced closure, beginning with Hakkasan Mayfair on Saturday, July 4, then Yauatcha City following two days later on Monday, July 6.
Following the success of the world-class delivery service launched in response to the lockdown in the UK, coupled with the launch of its virtual culinary popup, Casa Calavera, the phased re-openings will see Hakkasan Mayfair and Yauatcha City reopen to their guests. Hakkasan Group will continue to provide world-class cuisine and hospitality which they are renowned for whilst operating within UK Government guidelines and laying out safety measures and processes to protect both guests and staff.
Viewing ahead to the coming months, Hakkasan Group looks forward to welcoming guests back into its restaurants with fresh unique experiences to include alfresco dining, updated menus and drink collaborations whilst continuing their hugely successful delivery services across all brands.
We are delighted to announce Hakkasan Doha has re-opened and is now accepting reservations for dinner service. As per the Ministry of Public Health, Hakkasan will be operating at 30 percent capacity throughout the coming weeks, until further notice.
Walk-ins are welcome, however prior reservation is advised to ensure availability due to the new rules and regulations. The opening hours will be daily from 6pm until 11.45pm, with the last seating being at 11.30pm. A two hour return time applies, in order to accommodate more people in a spread out time frame.
In accordance with Qatar Clean Program, Hakkasan ensures all necessary precautions and highest level of sanitation are put in place for the safety of both staff and guests. To avoid physical contact, the menu will be available online through a scannable QR code with a smart phone.

As we rewrite our future in real time and begin planning re-openings of our venues across the US, UK and around the world, we wanted to take this time to give our dedicated staff and faithful customers an update on recent developments at Hakkasan Group.
These times are unprecedented as we watch the future history books written in front of our eyes on a daily basis. We see it hourly on TV and social media, and some of us may see it on the very streets we live. Through these trying times though, there are still positive and uplifting stories within the company that gives a glimpse into how hopeful tomorrow will become.
The tangible success of our London delivery and collection programs has been much welcomed. Shortly after our London restaurants temporarily ceased operations in March, the local team was able to quickly pivot to a delivery and take away program for all three London brands; Hakkasan, Yauatcha, and Sake no Hana. All have proven to be incredibly successful and will very feasibly become long-term programs to focus on into the future. We are currently using this model to replicate and expand the delivery program into other markets.
It may not seem a likely time to open a new venue, but our London regional office did exactly just that. Earlier this month, Hakkasan Group launched Casa Calavera, a unique virtual culinary pop-up, delivering authentic Mexican food to homes across central London. Casa Calavera London is a cutting-edge virtual pop-up delivery service pushing the boundaries of traditional dining. By launching a culinary concept without a brick-and-mortar store and available for delivery only, we believe that Hakkasan Group is on the cutting edge of how our industry will develop in a post-COVID hospitality world.
Unfortunately, and after significant deliberation, we have had to make the extremely difficult decisions to permanently close our previously successful Hakkasan restaurants located in Shanghai, China and San Francisco, California. Both circumstances were a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic. We would like to take this time to thank all of our team members who made these venues a triumph; you will be missed. While these venues did set their last table, we are enthusiastic to report that there are a growing number of re-opening plans currently in development for venues both in the US, UK and with our partners around the world. This is an optimistic sign of what’s to come for all of our venues across the globe in due course, and on each venue’s own timeline based on their localized situation and government directives.
In the midst of the global pandemic, alongside the ever importance of equality and fairness amongst us all, this historic moment in time may be the most crucial period for the continued stride of our Hakkasan Group Inspires philanthropic efforts. Teams in both Las Vegas and London have generously donated countless hours to package and deliver meals to various charities in both cities. Earlier this month, both Yauatcha restaurants in London launched its Rainbow Potstickers campaign. Throughout the month of June, for each potsticker box purchased a month of breakfasts for a child will be donated through the charity Magic Breakfast, with a goal of providing over 8,000 breakfasts by the end of the month.
Hakkasan Group and its portfolio of brands will once and soon again maintain our mission of ‘crafting remarkable experiences’ for all – for our guests, and for our staff. When you break it down to its plainest form, what we make at Hakkasan Group is quite simple – we create an escape. We give our guests, that temporary flight from their everyday lives and make them ‘feel like they are in a movie’ while dining inside a Hakkasan restaurant, or where they can ‘champion epic discoveries’ underneath the OMNIA chandelier. The experiences we craft are timeless; memories captured for only a brief moment but carried with us forever. Because of that, and because what we do is special for so many – we will return; and when we do, we’ll do it safer, stronger and better.

We have been preparing extensively under guidance from public health experts to develop a plan that will allow us to welcome you back safely. Our safety plan puts your health and safety at the center of all we do. It is a comprehensive, multi-layered approach. We have moved to a paperless menu system via a scannable QR code from your phone, tables spaciously separated practicing social distancing and a rigorous cleaning plan will also be implemented.

Today we find ourselves in unprecedented times as our communities around the world come to terms with the COVID-19 pandemic. The long-term impact of the virus on the travel, tourism, entertainment, and hospitality industry still remains unclear. We are taking every step and precaution to prioritize the safety and well-being of our guests and employees.
With the best interests of our communities in mind, Hakkasan Group has temporarily closed our nightclubs, dayclubs, and restaurants in over 20 destination cities worldwide. We have been closely following recommendations from the CDC and public health authorities in the countries we operate in.
As a global hospitality company our decision to temporarily suspend our operations were multi-layered. First and foremost, our decision was rooted in our commitment to protect the health and safety of our team members, guests, vendors, and the many others who touch our business operations on a daily basis. We have also followed government mandates in the US and internationally requiring restaurants and non-essential businesses to temporarily cease activity.
As a company, we knew that the decision to temporarily suspend our operations would have wide reaching ramifications across the business starting with our employees, who make up the bedrock of our company. We continue striving to preserve and protect the long-term stability of the company so that when operational again we are able to welcome back as many team members as possible.
